General Information

Hydralyte Colour Free Lemonade Flavoured Electrolyte Liquid helps replace water and electrolytes lost due to vomiting, diarrhoea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise and occasional hangovers.

When to start taking Hydralyte:

Hydralyte may be taken on the first signs of fluid loss due to vomiting and diarrhoea. Hydralyte may also be taken to help manage dehydration caused by heavy sweating, vigorous exercise, occasional hangovers, or due to a hot or dry environment.


Signs of mild dehydration:


Sticky or dry mouth, increased thirst, lethargy, decreased urine output, dark yellow urine.

Be aware that:

Dehydration due to vomiting or diarrhoea can be dangerous in babies and children under 5 years old and in elderly people.

Do not dilute. Sip slowly. Refrigerate after opening and discard after 1 month.

Age in years: Under 12 months, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 90 minutes, Max dosage per day: 1000mL.
Age in years: 1-3 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 90 minutes, Max dosage per day: 1400mL.
Age in years: 3-6 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 60 minutes, Max dosage per day: 2000mL.
Age in years: 6-12 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 30 minutes, Max dosage per day: 2600mL.
Age in years: 12-Adult, Recommended dosage: 200mL every 30 minutes, Max dosage per day: 4000mL.
